The Five Constraints that China's Bearing Export Must Break Through
Although China has achieved significant results in exploring the international market and expanding exports in recent years, with the export value of bearings increasing year by year, most of them are cheap small ball bearings. Taking 608ZZ bearing as an example, China is the world's largest producer of this type of bearing and one of the countries with the most exports of this type of bearing. However, the bearings used in domestic household appliances such as air conditioners and vacuum cleaners in China are all imported from Japanese companies such as NSK and KOYO. This situation is also a common phenomenon in the matching of main engines in China, which indicates from one aspect that China's exported micro ball bearings are positioned in the low-end market.
2. Export product specifications are too concentrated and compete at low prices
Due to the limited capacity of low-end micro ball bearing products in the international market, hundreds of Chinese enterprises compete with products from Russia, Romania, and other countries for the market, resulting in a situation of oversupply. This is the main reason for low price competition.
At present, there are no less than 500 enterprises in China that carry out export business of micro and small bearings through various channels, and the competition is extremely fierce, leading to mutual price pressure in order to compete for the market.
The export price of spherical bearings with seats is relatively high, and many manufacturers have started to purchase them without considering market capacity. Currently, the export price of this type of bearing has decreased to one-third of the original price.
3. Low level of product export and unstable market
At present, China relies heavily on intermediaries in the export channels of bearing products, and transit trade accounts for a considerable proportion. In addition, there are few products that directly enter the market, the randomness of order variety specifications is large, and the requirements for end users are often unclear, which is not conducive to organizing production and after-sales service.
4. The export volume of bearings from foreign enterprises continues to expand
At present, well-known foreign bearing companies have come to China to invest and establish factories, producing bearings for domestic matching and export. In the future, with the continuous expansion of production scale, its proportion in China's total bearing exports will continue to expand.
5. The quality and level of foreign trade personnel are relatively low
Some bearing foreign trade personnel do not understand technology and the market, and the pre-sales, sales, and after-sales services for bearing exports are not perfect, which has caused significant difficulties in entering the OEM market.
Some foreign trade personnel with high professional qualifications immediately switch jobs and establish new companies after mastering a certain market, and engage in malicious competition against the existing market, disrupting the market and lowering export prices.
