On the afternoon of September 26, 2020, the General Branch Committee of the Lishui Automation Equipment Industry Association of the Communist Party of China held a Party member representative conference and elected the second General Branch Committee of the Association. Deng Guowei, Deputy Secretary of the Enterprise Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Comrade Xie Lili, Organizational Member of the Enterprise Party Committee, attended the meeting.
The conference kicked off with a resounding national anthem. Wang Huawen, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the previous association, delivered a work report on behalf of the first General Party Branch to the conference. The report reviews and summarizes the work situation and shortcomings of the first Party General Branch, and puts forward suggestions for the future work of the second Party General Branch Committee.
The conference passed the draft election method and the recommended list of voters. On the basis of fully promoting democracy, five comrades including Wang Huawen, Zhu Yaofu, Zhang Shihua, Wu Xinguang, and Xu Jianming were elected as members of the second general party branch of the association through secret ballot and differential election. After the first meeting of the committee, Comrade Wang Huawen was elected as the Secretary of the General Branch, Comrade Wu Xinguang was elected as the Deputy Secretary of the General Branch, and Xu Jianming, Zhang Shihua, and Zhu Yaofu were members of the General Branch.
The newly elected Secretary of the General Party Branch of the Association, Wang Huawen, made a statement at the conference. He first expressed gratitude to the attending representatives and various general branch committees for their trust in him, and proposed goals and requirements for improving theoretical literacy, complying with the Party Constitution, and solidly carrying out the Association's party building work in the future.
Comrade Deng Guowei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Development Zone Enterprise, fully affirmed the work of the first committee of the Association, especially Secretary Wang Huawen, and put forward new hope for the work of the second committee.
