This year marks the third year that Wang Huawen has embarked on the path of serving as a representative of the National People's Congress after going public. He focuses on innovative development, dares to take risks and invest, and continuously roots and grows in the rolling functional components industry, contributing to the precision manufacturing industry in the Economic Development Zone with the power of "smart manufacturing". At the same time, he does not forget to be a "mouthpiece" for public opinion and promote the solution of hot and difficult issues for the masses. With multiple identities, he explores and practices in different fields, works solidly, and fulfills his duties wholeheartedly.

Standing at the forefront of the trend, innovating to promote new quality productivity

As a representative of outstanding entrepreneurs, Wang Huawen firmly believes in the belief that "innovation can also be achieved in mountainous areas", and takes advantage of the situation to forge a new engine for development. He led the enterprise to pass the national high-tech enterprise review and recognition in December 2023, and the association enterprise won honors such as national high-tech enterprise, specialized and new small and medium-sized enterprise, Zhejiang manufacturing certification enterprise, and Zhejiang high-tech enterprise research and development center.

As the head of the industry association, Wang Huawen plays the role of a National People's Congress representative and maintains close contact with the association's affiliated enterprises. He immediately conveys the spirit of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference to relevant enterprises, plans a series of rolling functional component activities for 2024, and combines the learning of the spirit of the two conferences with the development of "new quality production" in the industry.

In March of this year, he also invited Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China Machinery Industry Federation, National Rolling Function Parts Industry Association and other units to focus on deepening the transformation of scientific and technological achievements through the "Zhejiang Lishui Transformation" path, shaping new advantages for the development of the rolling function parts industry through technological innovation, and helping Lishui's rolling function parts industry achieve "three doubles, two breakthroughs, and one catch-up".

Caring for the people and helping improve their well-being

Wang Huawen pays special attention to the social and livelihood development of the Economic Development Zone and Nanmingshan Street, providing truthful feedback on people's demands and conveying industry voices. He has repeatedly proposed the construction of roads connecting Kuocang Road to the development zone. "Although the traffic situation in the development zone has been continuously improving in recent years, it still cannot keep up with the pace of development..." Wang Huawen suggested connecting Kuocang Road and Fuling block to accelerate the construction of the southern city, closely connect the southern and northern cities, and promote the development of one river and two cities.

During this year's Two Sessions, Wang Huawen also proposed the suggestion of adding bus stops at the exit of Fuling Expressway in the Development Zone. "Passengers cannot board or disembark at the Fuling Expressway intersection in the Development Zone, which is not only inconvenient but also increases the travel cost for passengers..." Recently, according to the suggestion of Wang Huawen, the Municipal Traffic Law Enforcement Team, Economic Development Zone Construction, Expressway Traffic Police, Nancheng Traffic Police, Passenger Transport Company and other relevant departments held a suggestion assignment meeting and communicated on-site to confirm. Finally, the temporary bus stop will be determined on the east side of the Fuling Connection Line, 200 meters in front of the Fuling South exit. At the same time, traffic safety facilities will be added to provide safety guarantees for the public to get off at the bus stop and solve the problem of difficulty in getting off.

In addition, Wang Huawen regards the Nanmingshan Street People's Congress Representative Liaison Station as an important platform for fulfilling his duties. Every year, he actively participates in offline activities organized by the liaison station, such as receiving the masses and conducting special inspections and research. At relevant meetings, he provides suggestions and recommendations on the management of resettlement communities, maintenance and construction of municipal facilities, and accelerating the construction of village level shared prosperity workshops, which are of concern to residents in the Economic Development Zone. He has put forward more than 20 opinions and suggestions.

The road ahead is long and arduous. Wang Huawen will take on a "dual mission" with a "dual identity", do his best, fulfill his duties, and continue to write a new chapter in the rolling functional cause. He will strengthen his performance and actively contribute to the development of people's livelihoods and economic construction in the city.
